Circle of Security Workshop (Hybrid)
Welcome to the Circle of Security
The Circle of Security Parenting Program (COS-P) is a globally acclaimed group coaching initiative that equips parents with invaluable tools and insights. It empowers parents to understand their children's needs beneath their behaviors, thus nurturing a stronger, more loving connection in the imperfect yet authentic journey of 'good-enough' parenting.
This 7-week group program is founded on decades of research, illuminating how secure parent-child relationships can be cultivated and fortified.
Who's It Designed For?
COS-P is tailored for parents of children aged 0-5 years who aspire to fortify their bond with their child while reflecting on their own upbringing. If you've faced complex family dynamics, mental health challenges, or experiences of abuse or neglect, please consider that a face-to-face group setting may be more suitable.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to explore whether the online version suits you best. It's my responsibility to ensure you have the optimal environment for your growth.
What Will You Gain?
Throughout this transformative journey, you will:
Gain insight into your child's emotional world by becoming adept at deciphering their emotional needs.
Foster your child's ability to effectively manage emotions.
Boost your child's self-esteem and self-worth.
Embrace your inherent wisdom and desire for your child's emotional security.
How It Unfolds
Each week, we'll convene via Zoom to delve into a chapter of the Circle of Security. Our program combines engaging videos, hands-on exercises, and lively group discussions.
Following each session, you'll have a week to absorb, practice, and reflect. We encourage you to share your 'Circle Stories' because once you've glimpsed The Circle, you'll find it woven into your daily life with your little ones.
Kindly note that sessions cannot be recorded to preserve the group's integrity, as per Circle of Security International guidelines. If you anticipate an absence during one of the weeks, don't hesitate to contact your facilitator to arrange a catch-up session.
Our founder of GROW, Julia Meyer, is the facilitator of the 7-week workshop on the Circle of Security.
